From the John Jenkins pedestrian bridge you can watch the start, the hairpin turn, and the finish at this one prime location! There's plenty of parking at the Chestnut Street garage and limited on-street parking adjacent to Simard-Payne park.

In 2025, we want to add an event to Riverfest for paddlers of SUP boards, kayaks, and canoes. Our working name is "PaddlePalooza".

This year, starting at 11:30AM on Saturday, July 20, we invite you to paddle the same marked course as the Rowing Regatta competitors, and then give us feedback and your creative ideas on how to create a great new event for Riverfest 2025. 

Everyone who fills out a feedback form after the paddle will have the choice of a FREE raffle ticket to win a kayak, or a FREE drink at the beer tent.

This is not part of the Riverfest Regatta and all paddlers participate at their own risk. All participants please wear a lifejacket (PFD) at all times.

All registrants will receive a detailed packet including parking, venue layout, and a heat sheet for all races via email by 8AM on Thursday, July 18. Current draft, subject to change, is available here.
